What is Debt Simplification (Minimum Cash Flow algorithm)?
Debt Simplification computes each person’s net balance (total money paid minus total money owed) and matches debtors with creditors using greedy optimization. It minimizes the total number of peer-to-peer money transfers.
Can I add itemized restaurant receipts into this trip ledger?
Yes! Mode A (Itemized Splitter) and Mode B (Trip Ledger) are bridged. You can calculate an itemized dinner receipt in Mode A and click "Save to Trip Ledger" to automatically log it as an expense.
Is my group trip data saved if I close the tab?
Yes. TryBillSplit saves your session automatically to your browser’s localStorage and updates the URL with every change so you can bookmark or share the state.
